At C&D The Agency, we love celebrating our clients’ wins, so today’s spotlight is on Healthy Hip Hop, an online platform powered by the arts and social interaction. Think Spotify meets TikTok in a curated environment for children and families. The platform’s CEO, Roy Scott, has amassed success with his team in raising $1 million in private equity, $250K in non-dilutive grants, earned the title of Atlanta TechStars 2020 Social Impact Accelerator, and so much more. Not to be overshadowed by all the great achievements, Healthy Hip Hop makes dope music for children. It goes beyond the traditional Kidz Bop-esque tunes and creates original, culturally relevant, and responsive music for our youth. We are “for the children, for the culture.”
As a Black-owned business with Roy Scott’s background in Hip Hop – the music plays a crucial role in distinguishing this platform from anything out there with incredible music that speaks the language of today’s youth. We aim to increase Healthy Hip Hop’s reach and build engagement through schools and ambassador programs. Most importantly, Healthy Hip Hop is a safe space for children to have fun, collaborate and be 100% authentic in a secure social environment. The platform allows children to be their most creative selves through music, dance, and innovation.
Healthy Hip Hop has a niche of its own and comes at a pivotal time in the world, for the youth, and in the Hip Hop space. Let’s be honest. We could all use more positivity in music and society right now.
